Itinerary: Bucarest - Sinaia (castillo de Peles) - Bran (castillo de Bran) - Gura Humorului (los monasterios de Bucovina) - Sighisoara - Sibiu - Belgrade
Day 1 - Bucharest
Arrival at the international airport of Bucharest. Transfer to your hotel to freshen up and accommodation
Day 2 - Bucharest
After a rich breakfast and a short panoramic tour of Bucharest: Revolution Square, the main Orthodox Church in Romania, the Romanian Athenaeum, the former Royal Palace, People’s Palace (exterior), University Square, Arch of Triumph, entrance in Open Air Village Museum. In the afternoon free time for shopping and individual visits. Accommodation at hotel
Day 3 - Bucharest – Sinaia – Bran – Brasov
Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning leave to Sinaia to visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the royal family of Romania, built in the 19th century by the first King of Romania – Carol the 1st. Nowadays this castle hosts an impressive collection of weapons and art objects. We will continue our journey to the village of Bran to visit the famous Bran Castle, the fortress built in the 14th century, worldwide known as Dracula’s Castle, due to the American movie directors. Arrive at Brasov, former capital of Transylvania. Overnight in hotel.
Day 4 - Brasov – Gura Humorului
Breakfast at hotel and take a walk in the Council Square and admire the impressive Black Church, enjoy the visit of the city, formerly known as Kronstadt, a medieval town that used to be the capital of Transylvania. Continue the journey towards Bucovina area via Bicaz Gorgeous and Red Lake. Late arrival in hotel
Day 5 - Bucovina monasteries
Breakfast at hotel. Today you’ll taste a little bit from the Romanian inwardness. You’ll visit the World Heritage outside painted monasteries, unique in the world: Sucevita – the only one built in the XIV century with high and thick walls like a real fortress, Voronet – the Sistine Chapel of the Orient, founded by the king Stephan the Great in 1487 to celebrate a big victory over the Ottoman Empire, Moldovita – founded by Petru Rares in 1537 with a stunning representation depicts the Tree of Jesse, representing Christ’s genealogy, a wide-spread iconographical theme in Europe during the Middle Ages. During your incursion thru history and religion you can stop in Marginea to enjoy the local workshops of black ceramics. Accommodation at hotel
Day 6 - Gura Humorului - Sighisoara
Breakfast at hotel and departure towards Sighisoara (WH city) via Borgo Pass. Passing thru the land mentioned by Bram Stocker in his novel, on the borders of three regions: Transylvania, Moldavia, and Bucovina, stop for a coffee at Dracula’s castle hotel. Evening walk thru the narrow streets of Sighisoara. Accommodation at hotel.
Day 7 - Sighisoara - Sibiu
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning we are enjoying a walking thru the most amazing World Heritage site in Romania: Sighisoara citadel. Visit the Clock Tower Museum, Medieval Weapons Museum and Torture Room; climb the stairs to see Church on the hill and enjoy the narrow streets of the city. In the afternoon transfer to Sibiu – one of the most beautiful medieval towns of Romania, selected as European Capital of Culture in 2007. Walk into the city centre in order to see the Large and Small Squares, the Clock Tower and the Liars’ Bridge. We will visit the Evangelical church, an impressive gothic monument, built in 1520. Day 8 - Sibiu – Timisoara – Belgrade
Breakfast at hotel and long way driving to Belgrade. Arrival and transfer to hotel

Breakfast at hotel. Free time for shopping and visits

Day 11 - Belgrade – Departure

– 30% must be paid in the moment of services confirmations;
– 70% must be paid with 20 days before arrival;

A. Operating period: all year long, except for Public Holidays (Orthodox or Catholic Easter, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, etc. when certain museums can be closed to public access.This must be reconfirmed with the staff at Exact Travel Club when selecting a certain period for your trip).
– Museums inside Sighisoara citadel are closed for visits on Mondays;
– Peles castle close on Mon & Tue all year around, and month of November due to early maintenance;
